Our new 2024 Queen

Kieran is the daughter of Briana & J.T. Sutherlin and the proud sister of Tristan, all of Prineville, OR. She is 11 years old and is a 5th grader who attends homeschool at Westview Academy K-12. Kieran is very active in 4-H by showing her dog Colt, her horses Princey, Smarty, Samora, and Snap, a market swine, and shoots on the 4-H Shotgun and Archery teams.
When she’s not attending 4-H practices or activities you’ll find her competing in the Pee Wee and Junior Rodeos or attending various playday club series on her main mount Smarty. She loves doing anything that involves horses, so you’ll find her in a variety of disciples from vaulting to driving, dressage to jumping, and western performance to working ranch horse activities.
In February, Kieran adopted a wild Mustang Foal from the BLM and began the task of gentling and halter breaking the untouchable filly. They even participated in their first in-hand horse shows together this summer. She plans to continue training Samora to eventually become her future jumping partner. Kieran absolutely loves all animals, so her future career endeavors are to pursue a degree in Veterinary medicine.
Keiran is very excited to be representing the Fort Dalles Riders for 2024 and looks forward to meeting many new people during her travels this upcoming year.
